Roland Royal III is an actor from Oak Park, Illinois, just west of Chicago. He left university at 19 years old in search of a more meaningful path and soon discovered a passion for making music and, ultimately, acting.

He began his formal training at Acting Studio Chicago in 2021 before moving to London to study at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA), where he recently earned his BA in Acting in July of 2025. Roland makes his professional stage debut as Julius Caesar in Tangle Theatre’s new adaptation of Julius Caesar in October.
